We are encouraging travelers to rideshare, carpool and use public transit to help reduce the amount of vehicular traffic within the Tahoe basin during the summer season. Resources throughout the Carson City/Reno/Tahoe area include but are not limited to:

East Shore Express
Operated by Tahoe Transportation District (TTD), East Shore Express provides a cost-free service between Incline Village and Sand Harbor. Learn More
TART Mainline Route, operated by Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transportation (TART), travels the western shore of Lake Tahoe from Tahoma to the north shore at Incline Village. The Mainline is free to ride to all passengers. Learn More
App users can choose weather they want to drive or ride. Carpooling is limited to one driver and one rider. May have service area limitations.
